Problem with 50/50 juice and BVC

Hi all,

I've just made my first foray in to DIY juice. I used a pre mixed base 50/50 14mg and added primo verde at 20%. I let the juice steep for a week and in my humble opinion it tastes great. However I have never tried the stock primo Verde from tjuice so nothing to compare against.

the problem I have is that the liquid seems to be burning out my BVC in a couple of days. The pull becomes quite hard and the fizz and crack I usually have from the coil is gone. This obviously effects the vapour production. Has anyone got any sugestions? Is this a common issue with 50/50? Would I be best advised to dillute with something?

I'm currently using a zmax 5 with silo.

Are you using the Beyond Vape BVCs or the Aspire ones? I chucked the ones supplied with the Silo as they were a bit rubbish. No problems with all the mixtures I've tried with the Aspire coils, I've had the same one in for over a week now.

The aspire ones. The beyond vapes ones were terrible! Are you using 50/50?

I think it must be your coils mate you should have no probs with your ratio , also you said you added 20% concentrate to your 50/50 I take it that was pg so you have already thinned it out a bit . I would try different coils and see how you get on . All the best mate

The aspire ones. The beyond vapes ones were terrible! Are you using 50/50?

Mostly 50/50 yes. Strange problem.

Also might be the type of juice. I use a Kayfun and after a day on baccy/desert type juice the coil needs a dry burn as it gets full of gunk very quickly. Never used your type of coil but may be a factor.

I use 60/40 VG home made using non watered boots VG and do so with no issues. Have even pushed it to 70/30 which was a bit too thick but manageable
