In case you missed the blatant lie by Professor Dame Sally Davies here is the link to the piece by the BBC

BBC News - England bans smoking in cars with children

This is the Chief Medical Officer for England making the statement that:

Butterscotch (flavouring) had to be withdrawn because people got chronic lung disease

This isn't just an inaccuracy, it is an outright lie.

If you would like to complain the complaint form for the Department of Health is here and you can make a complaint to the BBC here

It really does only take 5 minutes to make both complaints.

Here's the information which you might want to consider putting into the BBC complaint, in your own words (borrowed from QuinnDexter's post on UKV):

"The interview can be scrutinised at the following URL
BBC News - England bans smoking in cars with children

Sally Davies stated as fact when asked about vaping that butterscotch flavours "had to be withdrawn because people got chronic lung disease" which is untrue.

To date no reliable evidence has shown anyone to have contracted any chronic lung disease due to vaping, butterscotch or otherwise.

By transmitting this misinformation the BBC is complicit.

A full, public retraction on the same programme is required to redress the balance."

This is the information you need to put into the BBC complaints form before you get to write the specifics of your complaint:
Type of complaint:
BBC News (TV Radio and website)
What is your complaint about:
BBC News website
URL:

Complaint category:

If you want your message to be reach everyone you may want to consider sticking to high contrast colours for your posts. Some of us struggle with red or blue aggainst black

Even the famous "Newkie Brown" Newcastle Brown Ale..isn't safe from the banners..they are changing the recipe...removing caramel colouring..apparently mice and rats get pissed on it..and die...the wee bastards better would be better off at the Betty Ford clinic
