Profile 1.5 RDA Question :)

Yeah that's them man, sorry for the stupid questions just tryna be safe you know haha. How short should I cut the legs for the profile rda?

Appoligise for being a complete rookie at this , just want too make sure i dont have any of them explosions that people get for being stupid and not knowing what too do properly

Lol no need for apologies mate, everyone has been a rookie at one time much better to ask questions and be sure.

If you don't have a coil length trimming tool I'd do the legs like 2/2.5 times the *diameter of the coil, put it in loosely and see how it lines up with the airflow slots, probably want the coil to be sat with the centre of it so it's sat somewhere around between the the 2 rows of airflow. I can't be exact as I've not tried it so be a little trial and error.

Ahhh fair enough, just try to get it so it looks somewhat like the below image.

brooo i've been tryna recreate that image with these coils for ages now, it only goes the opposite way if that makes since so therefore the cotton wont go down into the juice weild any idea what im probaly doing wrong lol, i cant twist the legs or anything to get it like that

Lol all good man, got a coil tool or a screwdriver or drill bit you can put through the middle of the coil while placing it to hold it central/twist it around? Tool that comes to shape the mesh might do it thinking about it (the skinny side).

Yeah i've got one of them, I think the main problem is the legs on these coils since there not just straight and they are wrapped the posts dont screw in all the way either so when i go to twist the coil all the way around it starts too just stretch wide open to the point its not even a coil anymore and the posts are about to pop out haha

Well that's a bitch lol rather than try twisting the coil around I'd hold it in the right position on the tool while placing it, pull the legs out towards the clamps get it to the right width place it down so both legs are in then tighten both sides whilst still holding it with the tool. If that's what you're already doing then ermmmm bugger, try to persist without throwing it at a wall?

Yup thats exactly what I was doing there hahah kinda got one in. but its reading as a .6 instead of a .3 so uhm idk... back to the drop dead I guess for a while? hahaha
