If the 12mg freebase nic is working for you and keeping you off the cigs then my advice is to stick with that for now.

Hope I'm posting these questions in the right place. The coolfire z50 came with the usb cable for charging, I asked the chap in the shop what sort of mains plug adapter I would need he said standard 1amp plug adapter same as a phone charger one , I have been quite lucky of late, my son recently gave me his old iPhone (21 century dad wot oh) first time owning a mobile, trouble is only can get a signal if I stand in the corner of the bedroom, oh the rural life of Wales, would I be ok using this plug?, I don't want to knacker the battery.

I Generally charge mine on the usb of my computer, most have rechargeable batteries and use a seperate charger, but yours just plug it into your pc or laptop.

Yes it will be fine using that charger. Some old iPhone chargers are 1A, newer ones I believe are 2.1A but your mod will only draw the current it wants.

Fwiw the rule of thumb for DC power is to ensure the power supply has MORE capacity than the device wants to draw.. so if your device draws 1a (one amp) choose a charger with more than 1a of capacity. choose less and the charger can be overtaxed and fail. in either case the battery will be fine ;)

try to charge to full capacity and let discharge almost completely for best battery life.
If your device has removable batteries a standalone charger is much better for batteries than in mod charging..

hope thats helpful

Thanks Richard, I must sound a bit paranoid but it's all new to me.

STOP DOING THIS RIGHT AWAY!!! your pc usb can probably only provide 500-750ma (usb2 spec-500ma) usb3 can carry more but pc's are not really designed as psu's

**EDIT a £shop 2.1a 2port 5v usb charger costs £2 and is very well built/speced (see bigclive's utube on em).

I have always done it this way, it's only trickle charging and not drawing any current so it's not a problem. It's not like i am vaping while charging, i use usb for alsorts of things
