Putting a DNA40 and Fat Daddy into a Hana

I have a Hana Clone (cloupor) on its way to me and would really like to swap out the chip for a DNA40 and upgrade the 510 to a fat daddy (or similar.

Is this an easy job or is there any apes that can do it for me??

it can be done but will take some time todo it properly its just a case of taking out the old board then retrofitting the new board. the worst bit will be getting the old board out as it will be full of hot glue and that is a nightmare to get out also you may want to renew the wires in there aswell just tobe on the safe side and as for fitting a fdv you will need to remove the old 510 then drill the hole out the 9-9.5 mm then tap it with either a 10x.5mm or 10x1mm tap.

Angelfiremods sell hanas with a dna40 and fdv 510 they install themselves, you could email them and ask for a price to send them the parts and mod and they do it for you, they can only say no.

I will try this at some point, it doesn't look hard and I suppose it would be a good skill to following next years vaping NWO

to get fat daddy in you need 9mm drilled out hole and m10 X 1mm straight flute tap

Here is a similar build, DNA30 board is same size as a DNA40

Its a very easy process to drill and tap as the box is aluminium. Just remember either thread cutting grease or a splash of WD40. Also as you are tapping go in a turn then back out as this will remove the cut aluminium and stop it binding up as you tap.

if its covered in hot glue use lighter fluid put a little on leave it for a min or two and it should peel off
