Quad twisted micro coil .4 ohms

Here is my latest build using twisted 28g Kanthal then twisted on itself again so it's 4 strands of kanthal. Came out at .4 Ohms on the Nemesis/Omega clone combo. NOTE: I'm using Sony VTC4 30 amp batteries.






I'm finding that the quad twisted is quite hard to coil on the Omega clone I have due to no post holes and small screw heads, anyone have any tips or tricks on how to make it easier. I was thinking of using some small washers to help trap the wires, anyone know if this will help and if it will affect the resistance at all?

Any constructive criticism is greatly appreciated.

Done the same build a couple of days ago but at .6 ohms it's working well for now

Thanks, I'm still trying to find the right build for myself, seems each coil build I've tried ends up sacrificing something. Just need to find that sweet spot.

Might do a couple of extra wraps for more surface area, I think that's when it's going to take a while to heat up....
