Quality UK Nicotine

I'm pg base mate but I've also got a 4 month old half bottle of vg base too that I've been using this morning to check it and yes it smells harsh but it's perfectly usable I mixed red astaire and currently vaping it no problems. I do wonder if the op is giving his mixes enough time to develop and blend together as I find generally if I vape say a fruit after mixing it then it tastes bitter and harsh but leave it a week and it's fine. Red astaire is practically an instant vape

Are you guys using PG or VG base? There's another thread where the op got VG base nic from UKF and says it's almost unusable.

I've got PG and it's fine.

I mostly use VG base from UK Flavours and never have a problem. I do occasionally buy a 250ml PG base and this gets to hang around for a few months but I can't say I have had a problem with this either.

I use VG base because I personally like VG heavy mixes so this is good for me. I use PG mix occasionally for a couple of recipes that are heavier on PG. It makes sense to me to select the nic base that best suits my target ratio rather than adding a huge amount of one dilutent and hardly any of the other.

I prefer VG heavy, so use PG flavourings and nic and top up with just VG. Usually works out around 70/30.

Thanks for the replies so far.

Problem is I can't sample from multiple places, 100ml would last me a while, so it would take ages to get through all the vendors, although I would like to try myself but it's just not feasible.

I use JV247 for most of my concentrates.

I don't know if VG/AG would be right for me, I tend to make 60 or 70PG blends.

I'm also making 18mg, I don't think 12mg is strong enough for me at the moment, and I have used 18mg and 20mg with no peppery taste as pre made liquids. I could move down to 12mg but I find myself using more liquid and throat hit isn't enough, even drawing for about 8 seconds (iStick/Nautilus Mini 10w/ Aerotanks with NV coils 8w). Already using about 5ml a day at 18mg, 12 I'd use abit more id think.

Yeah I am steeping it's been just over 3 weeks since I mixed up a Mothers Milk clone and Dragons Blood, both have got the same taste, over the top of the other flavours.

When testing flavours I use just PG/VG mix and there's no sign of a peppery taste at all.

Personally I had looked at Piratesvape, but don't think I can't order until the 10th now.

It might not be the sign of bad/poor nicotine but it overpowers custards and fruit and doesn't make them an enjoyable vape.

I use pg based nic as it stores longer.
The only reason I can see for using vg base are for very high vg mixes that can not be achieved with pg base.
