So I've taken on a new build after overconfidently ordering a pcb and components for Stealthvapes raptor pcb
I have managed to get the board together, and working and just got to fit the actual raptor now but...
Can I add some fuses? The pcb doesn't seem to have anywhere to place them to protect the chip, which is the side I'd rather keep safe as Im already overcareful with my batteries
Second - enclosure, this is where I'm a bit stuck, I want to side mount my mod meter and pot but fitting it to an old G sized box let me see there isn't much /enough room, but that may be because that enclosure is drilled out for the pcb ( it's from an older mod I tore apart)
Third and most important, Insulation, the bottom of the pcb has all the pins out and I know it will short if I just drop it in a metal box
Would double thick electrical tape be enough or should I go for something like liquid insulation?
Any advice is appreciated, I just want to overplan this one since it's a step up from my usual builds
