Hi all, I'd appreciate any help and input you guys might have.

I'm currently running a pulse bf x mod with the pulse rda that comes in the kit, I've been running the coils that came in the kit fine for a couple weeks now but got some new ones today - tri-core fused Claptons 0.21ohm. They're the same coils just different ohm to the previous ones (0.42 were the ones in the kit). Installed 2 sets of coils, readings jumping from 0.46 upto 0.92 - Both have the same thing and have no idea what's causing it? They should be reading at around 0.10 ohm right? Tried seeing if it was the leg length or the tightness of the connectors but that doesn't seem to be the issue, anyone have any thoughts as to what to be happening?

have you got a pic of your installed coils, sounds like they're either not installed correctly or theres something loose

You're going to be drawing or trying to draw around 35amps to power those coils if they come out @ 0.10 which suggest they'll need around 130w of power.
I believe the X will only hit 90w even if the battery you're using can deliver 35amps.
Why build that low?

Hi and welcome btw.

Well ain't hindsight a bitch, that didn't cross my mind when I purchased them, only got em as I grabbed some wotofo Claptons and they're abit small in size for my needs. I've been using smok tanks for a year and decided to give an rda a go, I'll call it an oversight lol, 3rd times the charm I suppose! Thank you

Here's a pic, not sure what you'll make of it but no screws are loose, coils aren't sliding, I think strawberry is right as it's a 90w mod :|

That wont be why its not reading correctly though.
It will just vape a bit limp if you can sort the shorting issue.
Take the wicks out and try remounting again.

it being a single cell 90w mod will have zero effect on how it reads coils, unless its very close to the limit of what it can fire, powering them is a different story though, not sure of the limitations of output voltage etc on that particular mod

That's why I tried a 2nd set but no joy, I'll have a tinker and let you guys know what happens, back to my little tank for now :(

Are you gently heating when installed before wicking to get them heating evenly?
