yep i used a high build primer as i had it already then some minty green paint i got from halfords yrs ago and i had to buy some clearcoat from halfords again as i couldnt find the stuff i had a couple of coats of primer with abit of sanding to get it smooth then paint the colour let it dry paint again then another quick sand and then two more coats let it dry then 4 coats of clear with a good dry between coats then if you want you can get some car polish like t-cut and polish so its nice and shiney

oh forgot to say use mist coats so it builds up the colour slowly and then you should`nt get run marks
