Rebel 21700 100C

Does anyone have the rebel 21700 squonk? If so, how’s the door on them? Have they fixed the loose doors from the previous models?

After much debate and reading every review online I decided to take a punt as nothing else around I liked/wanted.
The mod took a week to arrive and happy to say everything is spot on, the door fits perfectly and even a little tight to get off.
Fire button has little movement but works as it should.
Have swapped Rebel's little squonk bottle out for a Goldilocks 20mm bottle which holds 8.9ml of eliquid.

This is my first DNA mod and my first 3D printed mod as been using Vandy Vape's Pulse V1, then 2, then 3 for last 5/6 years.
Currently paired the Rebel with a Sith RDA and vaping great

Actually... I may go ahead with one as well... I was looking in the Lost Vape direction for years if they would reboot the Therion 75c BF with the 21700 and DNA100c onboard, but no smoke about it in the air.
I must admit that some of my DNA based devices already have nearly 100k clicks... xD

My puff count is already @17915 so definitely liking the mod. Only change I've made is swapping the bottle; 20mm is too big, it fits lovely but pushes the door apart a mm or so when squonking, so now using a black 18mm bottle from Sunbox that holds 8.5ml.

I just took a look at the single 21700 Rebel squonk and I'm considering trying one of the square Pulve v3 squonk bottles that has the flip open fill port. I've sent them an email so I'll see what they say. The Pulse3 bottle is an 18mm square 7ml bottle and It certainly looks like it will fit.

2nd: Drone (2batteries squonk)
3rd: Therion (single batery squonk)
For the records: I did not started the bidding

But yes, nobody needs to convince me using the DNA chipped mods.

Well, for me while filling the squonk I am using the Geekvape's Flask (2nd one now). LostVape were giving the filling bottles to both: Therion and to Drone...
On the other hand: I've looked on the Centurion squonk mod, and use of the filling door/flap seem to be even easier to use.
The one you've mentioned seem to be similarly easy to refill...

Well, to be honest: looking on the fact that the Rebel squonk door is holding on the plastic snaps against plastic case, my only concern would be reliability: how long it will take to wear assuming opening the case door each 2nd day, e.g. 180-ish openings/closings per year?

Personally to me the ideal solution would be if they would adopt the solution like the Topside or the Centurion, e.g. access to filling port without the doors removal.
OR: going ahead as everyone else and changing the door fastening from snap to magnets. Should be relatively easy in the 3D printing process: placing the magnets and metal bars on holders and print surroundings?
Anyway, it is their design...

That's a good point about magnets. I think it would actually be relatively easy to make a couple of small indents with the right size drill and glue a couple of magnets in with some araldite to hold the door. 3mm button magnets only cost pennies to buy.

I have a Pulse V3, the square bottle definitely doesn't fit the Rebel 21700 squonker.

Thanks for letting me know that. I could tell with the shape and rear bottle position of their 200W dual battery squonks that it wouldn't fit but I had hoped the single 21700 mods might be the right shape for the P3 bottle to fit but clearly not.
