Recipe mega thread

I don't object to people learning to mix, I encourage it. I'd like to have seen this thread dealt with a different way and had it been along the lines of:

I made an awesome recipe that tastes like mothers milk it's...

But. If you add a little dragon fruit that plays well with the strawberry it's even better.

That would have seemed like learning or educating.

That said thanks to the general tone which doesn't look like the aforementioned I would like any plumeblu companies products omitting to save my sanity.

peps1. Not trying to provoke you here at all. I can understand you just want to compile this stuff in a convenient place but the problem is every time a moderator or vendor takes issue you keep challenging them back, sure you're trying to defend your point of view and all but at times its getting quite antagonistic. If you work with them rather than against them everyone will be happier.

Maybe what you are trying to say is not coming out right which often happens with text, you can see how your joke earlier got taken in a bad light by some. All these vendors are trying to make a living so naturally they're going to be somewhat suspicious of this kind of thread and when you say something a little close to the mark then they think their concern was completely justified.

I can see why you say that, but getting the backs up of both the site admins (who voluntarily put a considerable amount of their time and effort in to the running of the forum) and the vendors (who support the site by giving members special offers, discount codes, freebies, and contribute to the cost of running the site through advertising) is definitely not the way to go about it.

I agree, but its very hard not to want to retaliate to comments like this, regardless of the station of whom ever made them.

Im not going to get into a debate with you about it .. coz frankly i couldn't give a toss what your opinions are on the matter

Fair point, well put!

Dude, let me explain that comment so it's clear.

admin rules are final. We don't have many and rarely have to enforce them

when we do dish out some "ok stop that" just ave it, don't argue the toss about it.

there for in reality "I don't give a toss about what your opinions are, you've been told what do do on a forum by the people who put their time in to running it, take note of it - Jesus it's not like we tried to stop you breathing, just laying some ground rules, accept them or don't."

I`m a bit of an outsider here as I`m not, or intend to be, a mixer. When I worked, I was an electrical engineer. I used to spend days on design and specification for a particular installation. At a later date, I would get invitation to quote for a similar scheme. I would get really annoyed and upset to find that the documents contained my exact specification and most of my design.
I can, therefore, understand the comments about rip-offs. Ok, there is no copywrite involved but e-liquid vendors have spent untold hours and invested in equipment to manufacture their liquids.
I think, as stated, that a lot of the recipes will be used by individuals, to make liquids and sell as originals on facebook or elsewhere without conforming to any hygene regulations.
If i was a vendor on POTV, I would be incensed.

Not sure if you are aware or not, but what keeps this forum a float these days is largely revenue from vendor advertising. If they do not like the idea that a recipe that they have worked hard to achieve (however close or far from the original) is being touted around the forum and want it removed that should not be questioned as it those very vendors that ultimately bring the funds to enable us all to benefit.

I don't have problem with this, any vendor can ask to have the clone of their removed, we are yet to see any vendor with a clone on the list complain yet.

But, just in case I have put a it in big red letters on the front page not to post a recipe or request one from List of objecting vendors.
