Hello apes
I have the above which I am well pleased with, good flavour etc, single coil
I I am vaping at 0.28 ohms 3.4 volts, 40 watts
Just one problem, whistling noise when I draw and liquid popping sound too
I ask is this a characteristic of this mod ?
Thanks

It will not be a characteristic of the mod as the mod is the battery part of the set up. Can't say I've noticed any whistle from the recurve but it's possible if you have the airflow closed down and the coil in a particular position. It's not hard to recreate a musical instrument when passing air over a coil.
The popping is likely to be due to the wattage or voltage your running at. Too little or too much wicking can also cause popping. Confusing eh.
I'd imagine the popping would lessen if you run at 3.7v or more as the coil will be able to vaporize the liquid more efficiently.
If your using a multi strand coil like a clapton, they can often pop as trapped juice vaporizes quickly.

Hi . I have a recurve 24 and don't have any issues with it. I run a 0.17 fused clapton. I tend to sit the coil high in the deck, so the top of the coil just sits above the air chamber. I thin the wick out at the ends, so tends not to clog up with juice to much. Get no spit backs or nothing. As the other guy said, just play around with your setup. And you will find the right one for it

I usually find moving the coil slightly up or down will stop whistling or slight adjustment of the air flow or both.

I use the tool included for coil placement and get no whistle, yes with the enclosed coils, it does pop a bit but no issues.

Many thanks guys,
One further question, might sound silly
Correct way to clean air holes, juice hole etc

Just run it under the hot tap or if your using a juice that lingers like menthol then use some sterilising fluid like Milton (the stuff for baby bottles) [emoji6]
