I’ve just got this. I’ve built it as per the instructions using the tool to cut the coils to the optimum size, I’ve wicked it like every other dripper I’ve used. I’ve located the coil as per Mike Vapes video.

Great flavour etc but the restriction on the vape is seriously off. I’ve tried all manner of airflow from fully open down and I’m getting a real restricted pull (almost like a MTL).

WTF am I doing wrong??

It's a restricted DL attie. For more airflow go single coil around 3.5/4mm dia coil. I use it dual coil, 3mm, & fully open & whilst not as airy as some I have, I don't have an issue. Some do cut the legs at 8mm not 7mm to get a bit more air.

Thanks mate. I’m struggling with it to be honest. I've been using the profile on my squonker and it’s a perfect vape for me (at 50w). The coils on the recurve are coming out at .13 so I’m running it at 65w. It’s hot and restricted. It is better with the airflow cranked wide open but maybe it’s just not for me. I’ll try cutting some coils at 8mm and see if it helps

I’m also getting constant leaking from the air holes but that’s because I always overdrip

Don't have any leaking but I squonk & having used the Recurve know not to squonk hard as that thing was incontinent [emoji16]

I’ve dropped some longer coils in and notched it down to 62w. Better, much better, but still too restrictive overall for me. I’m going to try it on the topside once I can be arsed to change the pin and then probably put it back in its box and mark it down as a bad choice for my personal taste. Shame as the flavour is good. Thanks for the help though bud

Edit/m: wotofu have got it wrong with the recommended coil length for me. The air definitely feels more circulating with an 8mm leg

A few have said that, yet to try myself as don't really have an issue but will be experimenting on the next build.
