How To Replace the 510 connector on an iStick 20W

its not just the connection you have to buy you need the tap drill and a drill bit ontop so then its not so cheap

Which you then still have when you make your own box mod(s), or replace another 510 on another device. Or on your mates... etc etc :D

I think the value is in the fact you end up with a upgraded i-stick, rather than replacing it with the same mod with the same flaws.

Quality 510 connection is an important thing on a mod imo.

Nice job + pics bladesman, good work. :2thumbsup:

Nail on the head imo.

Why replace a device that can be fixed and improved at the same time? £10-15 in parts/tools vs throwing away £20-30 device and buying another £20-30 device which may yet again fail on threads.

£10-15 vs £40-60 with the possibility of having 2 fucked devices and not being wasteful :P

I had to take the top off my istick20 and had to change an insulator as some juice had gone through and pretty much eaten away at the bloody thing, which is why it kept saying PROTECTION. Fiddly but cost next to nothing and it's still working about 4 weeks later. It's my work battery so it gets thrown about, dropped, scratched and unloved.
Good job in changing the 510 by looking at the pictures.
