[RESOLVED: See 2 posts down].

I ordered a 3ml Aromamizer RDTA from DNA Vapes, and on the item page, it's clearly listed as "V2".

However the item that arrived is the updated V1 model. It still has the rubber band for airflow, has the older style drip tip and top cap chimney, and the slightly smaller velocity deck.

On looking at the item page more closely, the photo used is of the V1, but the text clearly states it's the V2.

Clearly, I'm pretty disappointed with this. The price paid was good for a V2, but less so for a V1 !

I've contacted DNA Vapes about this, but have not yet received a response. I'll update the thread if and when I receive a response.

@davrog if you get no response as they are normally shite with CS I have a phone number for them, PM me if you need it.

Received an apologetic reply from Craig at DNA this morning. The "V2" reference in the listing was indeed an error, which he's instructed the Web Team to correct asap.

@stu pid - I think the issue is mate, that they seem to mainly provide support through their Facebook page. I did once also send an email and never got a reply, but I've contacted them a few times on the FB page and they've been pretty swift to respond.

Their FB page is :- https://www.facebook.com/groups/993406414059142/

Cheers.

At least you got it resolved @davrog that's the main thing. I don't do FB out of choice and don't use the vendor with past experiences I've had with friends.

Yes, FB's generally a load of old bloat ...... I just keep an account on it, because it seems that more and more businesses etc are using it for support groups. I agree though, that it's a bit crap for people who don't use it or have an account there.

@scrumpox

The reason for the post was to make other members here aware, that if they placed an order for a V2, they'd actually get a V1.

That's what communities like this fine one are good for you see. There was no criticism put forward, and I updated the post as soon as the response from DNA Vapes was received, to indicate that they'd acknowledged their mistake, and would be correcting the listing.

Do you quality check everyone's posts here? ....... or just those that you have a persistant personal issue with?

I only saw your post here because the forum logged me out while I was on the page, so my filters weren't applied. Can I suggest that you add me into your 'Ignore List'. It's a great forum feature, and it'll mean you won't see any more of my content. ..... and I won't have you trailing me around making petty little points on so many of my posts.

I don't check everyone's posts and rarely read yours ... but if someone's acting like a knob I might well tell them so. DNA Vapes' listing of the v1/v2 was clearly dubious and anyone who isn't a knob would've sought to clarify it before ordering. Chancers act otherwise, don't they? Once the rather predictable disappointment materialised anyone who isn't a knob would've given the supplier the opportunity to rectify the issue before slapping their butthurt all over a public forum.
From what you say, I must've thought you've acted like a knob before ... :D ... but please don't take it personally.
