Hi All,

As everyone is always so helpful, I would like some recommendations please :)

I havn't mixed for years, up till last year was using darkstar bottle shots but got fed up with them. Been buying juice from local shop, nice and good selection, I get 2 bottles with nic for £20 (anything from 60-120ml bottles). Its proving to be far too expensive.

I used to use chefs vapour (now flavours) but can not decide whether to get bottle shots or if I should mix own recipes. I looked at flavour boss boss shots but looks like they colour their liquid and I hate that.

I thought about one shots from Chefs Flavours, are they any good? As they don't sell nic, where would be the best place to get nic shots from with free delivery? I still have a litre bottle of VG :)

Or should I stop being lazy and mix my own? Can you recommend any good fruit recipes? I pretty much like everything except melon, I like a blueberry vape as long as it's easy on the blueberry. I do like bakery vapes, so maybe looking to make up just one as it will require steeping, can you recommened a bakery recipe? Something simple, not custard (the only custard I ever liked was that isle of custard and devils custard (am sure that is what it was called). Currently vaping donut king deep-fried donut and that is amazing.

The recipe megathread, I remember going through it years ago, is it worth a trawl through again?

TIA

Isle of custard is now owned by the re juiced and devilicious is owned by vape it easy and both available again.

If you like doughnut king then you got to check out vape potion own brand which is better and much cheaper.

I can't comment about bottle shots, but as far as mixing goes Vapable are pretty good. They do nic shots and a good range of concentrates, VG, PG etc and they have free delivery for orders over a tenner. plus there's always 10% off and other bonus codes.

As for recipes - how many stars are in the sky...:18: Its probably worth having a look at http://e-liquid-recipes.com/ and seeing if anything takes your fancy.
and have a read of the reviews on the concentrates at vapable too.

Lol, so true. I look and get overwhelmed :). Ah, I used to order from vapable, forgot all about them, thanks. Think I will just have to pick a couple recipes that sound good and have a bash. Might grab a couple of bottle shots from chefs flavours whilst am experimenting :)

I think recipes can be tricky because they can be as easy or complicated as you want really. And expensive if you start buying all the flavours out there.
As for Blueberry you could try:

TFA Blueberry Extra 3.0 %
FW Blueberry 2.0 %
FA Bilberry 0.5 %

Reddit's quite good now, again depending how mad you want to go.

Get ya skates on though.....

They have the usual 10% off with code MAY10
but atm they also have 10% off TPA or TFA with code TPA10 which can be combined to give 20% of TPA stuff
as well as the usual 10% sitewide

personally don't know know why.....

A - they don't just drop 10% off the TPA prices and be done with it without need to combine codes

B - where the fuck was the heads up on here or in the Vapable section they got an extra 10% off TPA stuff ???

if you find a recipe or two, chances are it will use some TPA stuff in there somewhere
so get your skates on if you don't want to miss out on some extra savings

not bad indeed - but couldn't see RY4 Double TPA, well I got enough for what a good while

I just go with 4% RY4 TPA, plus about 5% Vapable Heinsenberg
(I call it my Reisenberg 4 or RY-senberg)
The RY @ 4% is a good base with the Heisenberg becoming more present, this my basic ADV
Now & then I'll chuck in 1% something, maybe a bit menthol or fruity to liven up a small batch if I'm bored

before year end I'll have to maybe grab more Vapable Heisenberg, it is clear colour and wick stays clean & clear too
(seems to last a bit longer between coils/wicking than brownish pure RY4 etc... or other darker juices)

but yeah, sort of does me for my adv - with a subtle kick now n then

Lol, so true. I look and get overwhelmed :).

You're right, it's very overwhelming. Just choosing where to buy from with their various discount codes, which brands, which size etc.

If you have the time and the patience then DIY can be worthwhile, but it can also be disheartening as you will produce a lot of shit.
