This review is based on my first ever order from Royal Vapor. The views presented here are entirely my own and not the views of POTV. Taste is entirely subjective so don't come after me with the torches and pitchforks if none of these liquids are to your liking.
All liquids were vaped with the following setup:
Coil: 1.5 ohm.
RDA: Magma.
Mod: Brass Stingray.
Wick: Organic Cotton.
Mystic juice: Arrakis
60VG/40PG
Strength: 12mg
Vapour Production: Very Good
Throat Hit: Good
Rating: 10/10
I've been on the lookout for a satisfying tobacco e-liquid for quite some time and personally I feel this is it. I would say its a Turkish tobacco with a definite floral taste. There is also a spicy taste going on in there as to what that is exactly I'm not certain. To begin with I thought perhaps a paprika but after further vaping it seems more like Chinese Five spice. Either way it compliments the tobacco well. A mild vape will lead to only minor throat hit but a longer draw on this and you can certainly feel the tangy spice tingling the back of your throat and it becomes a far stronger throat hit.
In all a lovely tobacco e-liquid that I will be ordering more of and you just have to love the Dune reference too. Freman and House Atreides fans rejoice.
Mystic juice: Babylon
60VG/40PG
Strength: 12mg
Vapour Production: Very Good
Throat Hit: Mild
Rating: 8/10
This juice is a strange one. For the first couple of vapes I got quite a distinct coffee taste which reminded me of Carte Noir. Sadly that went away and I really loved that taste, nevermind. On further vaping I couldn't quite put my finger on what the flavour actually was at times I got Pink Panther wafer biscuits and at others more of a cake taste like that Russian Slice cake you can get from some bakeries. Only as I got to the end of the bottle could I say with any certainty what it actually tasted of and thats traditional rose flavoured Turkish delight.
Its a very enjoyable vape but the flavour is kind of confusing and can be very different at times.Throat hit is pretty mild though and I found I had to do a hefty draw on this to get the kind of hit I wanted. As a juice and as a light vape its certainly interesting and yes I would buy it again.
Mystic juice: Cool Lemonade
60VG/40PG
Strength: 12mg
Vapour Production: Very Good
Throat Hit: Medium-Good
Rating: 9/10
This juice is very enjoyable. A very pleasant taste of fresh lemons followed by a slightly cooling blast that reminds me of menthol without actually being a menthol. Yes I know that sounds mad its kind of a chilled water feeling. The lemon is not sharp to the taste at all and I find this very refreshing. I could happily vape this all day when I need a change from tobacco juices. Throat hit is dependent on how much of draw you have on this.
Mystic juice: Arctic Ice
60VG/40PG
Strength: 12mg
Vapour Production: Very Good
Throat Hit: Good
Rating: 7/10
I have to say I only tend to buy menthols to cure myself of the dreaded vapour's tongue when it occurs so if you are a menthol fan then you could probably add another point to the rating I've given. This is pretty much a standard menthol with very good vapour production and a good chilly throat hit. It certainly clears the sinuses. The reason I rate it down is because it doesn't have a sweet taste on the exhale and that for me makes it a little bland. Only so much you can do with a menthol I know but it left me wanting a little more but its far from bad.
In terms of service Royal Vapor was excellent. Free delivery for spending over £15 and I could also use the POTV coupon too. My order arrived next day which was great since sometimes I let myself run low on juice and get very frustrated while I sometimes wait 3-4 days for an order.
Its also one of the few times I've ordered more than one juice and discovered I enjoyed all of them. True the menthol was a ittle less than I expected but I don't feel I wasted money and will happily vape it.
If I had any criticism it would be the bottles the juice comes in. I have no issues with dripping on to an RDA that is pretty open like the Omega but in my Magma I find I am constantly having to transfer the juice from the bottles to a squeezy bottle. The other minor annoyance is the bottles are dark coloured glass and its sometimes difficult to see how much is left in them.
