Second try at building

This is my second attempt at building after a failed first attempt. picked up a few rda's from fasttech as really wanted to try what everyone seems to be raving over. Its 1 ohm on a dark horse clone. Any feedback or constructive criticism would be greatly appreciated

Pretty tidy to be fair.
Having either spaced coils as you do or pinched coils is down to your preference, you'll get advocates of both coming soon! As long as it glows evenly on heating, it's cool.
Wicking is fine. Just keep at it until it becomes second nature.

As it is the Dark Horse, put another coil in there so you have a dual coil set up and it'll run at 0.5 ohms and you should get more cloudy fun.

Is a dark horse good for flavour as well?

Looks really good, nice even spaces. I am not sure about the height of the coil or distance from airflow etc as I mainly use rebuildable tanks. It does look like you might need more cotton through the coil though, should be a snug fit when pulling it through, and should (when wet) still be touching all the coil.

Its kicking clouds more than I have ever had before. Flavour is ok. Not bad at all and very smooth indeed. So different from using a tank. Would like a more powerful flavour to carry through tho

DH isn't renowned for flavour, it's more a cloud chucker.

Have a looksee at the Derringer if you want to make far more of the flavour in the juice.

So I took your advice and made a duel coil. My first duel coil. Came out at .54

Looks pretty good. Are they both glowing evenly. I always have one lagging coil, takes lots of fiddling to get them even. I like my coils centred, just think it's looks better and easier to drop onto. Just need to put a 90 degree bend on both legs close to the coil, then another 90 degree bend in the opposite direction a few mm from the first.
