shelf life of concentrates

Bit of an unknown this ... some manufacturers put a born on date, others a best before date, most give no information.
Those that do seem to work on 12-18 months ... I'd treat it as a guide, store concentrates out of direct sunlight (think the fridge is overkill and liable to cause conflict with partners) and see how it goes. Personally I'm not too bothered about buying food on it's best before and consuming them after that date using common sense. There will be a safety margin built in.
With concentrates I think there's a fair amount of guesswork but working on 12-18 months wouldn't do you any harm. What would you do with out of date food? Give it a sniff perhaps?

I read of someone using some FA concentrates that were 5 years old and they still tasted like they did fresh.

I keep the bottles in little zip lock bags and then store them all in a dark drawer.

If you keep them in something air tight, dark and cool youll maximise the shelf life.
