Short!!!

Hi peeps!
I have a Smoktech sid & every now & again I get the message short come up when I try 2 vape! Then I try again & it works fine! Doesn't happen often but I'd like 2 know why? Any1 got an idea why this is happening? Ty

It would help to know what tank or clearo you are using with it. It may well be a simple case of a bit of juice in the top of the positive pin on the SID

Not sure who made the tank! It was the tank I got with the kit.

I am not familiar with one of those, the only other thing I could suggest is, if possible try to lever out the pin a touch at the bottom of the tank with a small flat driver or something else, dont force it though. If the contact pin is pushed inside the thread slightly this may well be one cause. Then just screw the tank back down gently untill you feel a bit of resistance.

on dct's the coil in the carto sometimes touches the outer skin of the carto and comes up short

I'm think'n after Xmas I'll b ordering a new tank as I'd like 1 I cld recoil myself! Just got 2 figure out which tank 2 go 4 lol.

its just one of those things I got a dct tank with my first mod and it wasnt the best it nearly put me off them it turned out the carto i got with it just wasnt the best get urself some boge or smok cartos and it should be good just make sure you buy the right ones as i think they come in 35mm and 45mm

If you wanna go for a different tank of course first thing you need to think about is to you want a top cooler or a bottom coiler top coilers are good for flavour and the vape is warmer and bottom coils are smooth and cool vapour - top coilers worth looking at are vivi nova's, and iclear30's - for bottom coilers which I personally prefer kanger are good I have 3 protank 2's and I think they're good glass tank too so don't have to worry so much about tank Cracking juices, aspire davide similar to the kanger also glass and people say better than the kanger, these new iclear 30b dual coil bottom coilers I'm getting one of these once my bank balance recovers from Christmas the only drawback with this is the tank Is plastic the manufacturer says they are safe from the tank cracking juices but I wouldn't chance it all in though it looks like a great tank
