Sophie says Nurses aren't supposed to accept Prezzies off Patients. I have still bought her something which i hope she will like. I say it's up to the Patient. She has put up with me quite a while with my mood swings and cussing when things aren't going right. She deserves a medal.

I was a nurse for 30 odd years and she is of course right, however as long as it's not cash or a Holiday to the Maldives, it should be fine, I've known some nurses to declare small gifts with their manager who gives it the nod or if it's edibles, they get shared, Im sure it will be fine though.

I never took you for a Nurse, that has shocked me but credit where credits due, you Nurses go above and beyond. My Ex once had a Abcess removed and they left the wound open and it had to be packed every few hours, she trusted me to do it. It was when we actually got on so a few years ago. Anyway i packed and Dressed it one night and the Nurse who came asked me if i had ever considered a career in Nursing. I told him it's not something i could do, i just don't have the Temperament. 30 Years as a Nurse is quite an Achievement, you should be proud
