Should I switch to RTA?

Hi all,

I currently have a GeekVape Aegis MAX mod + Zeus Tank...

I was thinking of switching to an RTA tank since I'm changing coils pretty frequently and apart from stock issues they're costing me a fortune.

I am pretty much a beginner at vaping which is slowly becoming a hobby.
Do you recommend switching to an RTA rather than using a coil tank? Or shall I stick to coils for now since I'm a beginner?

If so, where shall I start, any recommendations on which tank/system to get?

I was looking at "Fat Rabbit" and "Zeus X RTA by GeekVape".
Does anyone have experience with either of these tanks?

Help would be really appreciated.

Thanks =)

The Zues x tank is good for the money and easy to build bud. and you will save money in the long run.

Make a start on an RTA now but keep using your stock coil tank as well until you've mastered rebuilding.

As above just do it you will not regret it, I did it recently and I would not go back.

When it comes to Zeus there are 2 different ones, the standard and the mesh.

1. Zeus X RTA by GeekVape
2. Zeus X Mesh RTA Tank by GeekVape

What would be best to go for, I was thinking mesh, but it seems like I can't really build up my coil with the mesh version as they seem to utilise readily-made mesh 'pads'? but maybe someone can guide me?

Thanks

Changing from Stock Coils to an RTA is a big move and i would second what @rew suggests, the good thing about the Zeus X is you can buy a Mesh Deck Separately so have a 2 in 1 thing going and Mesh will open your world to flavour. There is no point in staying with Stock Coils when you can buy a RTA and save money. I do have one or 2 things which i use Stock Coils for so they definitely have their uses.

You buy Mesh Strips which you bend and put in the RTA, the Zeus X uses proprietary mesh so if your wanting to go the mesh route i would buy something else.
