Defer to those more experienced with stock coils, got rid of all mine years ago. I only do freebase nic, never even tried salts. But heyho, welcome to the land of the tootlepuffers

Hi all.
I am after some advice (as usual) I know a little needy aren't I

Ok...... so I now have a Nautilus X Tank and I have the Innokin Zenith on route from Le Petit Vapoteur - please can I have suggestions on best coils for each tank?, best watts and also what juices you use in them for MTL? ie: Nic content and vg/pg ratio?

I have been using 20mg Nic salts in my Artery Pal II but I am finding that I have started to feel a little sick after vaping it now, which is weird as I have gone over 5 weeks before feeling fine. ANY advice you can offer would be great.

No idea on the Nautilus X but the Zenith will come with 2 coils, 0.5 and 1.6 both of which can be used mtl but the 0.5 is really intended for dtl. The suggested wattage will be engraved on the coils, start low and gradually increase the wattage until you find your sweet spot.
Eliquid for mtl is usually 50/50 or 60/40. At your stage of vaping, I would suggest 12mg/ml base eliquid.

As for the nic salts, I'd say drop the nic content a touch or switch the freebase nic. Nic salts will get in the system faster so if you're tooting away at 20mg, could just be getting a little too much nicotine and getting that nic sick feeling.
Keep water at hand it helps with it.

Thank you - I received the items this morning! I have already put some Freebase juice (3mg) in the Pal 1 using the coil that was in there (15-25w) going to order some Nautilus X coils later on as waiting on the Zenith

Didn't get on with Nautilus X so can't advise there. My Zenith 1.2 ohm coils should arrive today. Will let you know. You can't really go wrong with 50/50, but up to 60 VG should be fine. I just use 12mg freebase for everything.

@rew so you use 12mg normal juice (not nic salt) do you not find that harsh and less flavor? The reason I used 20mg nic salt was for the hit and the good flavour, when I first started vaping last year for a short while i found 6 mg a little tough LOL

Yeah 12mg normal. I found that nic salts had less flavour than the equivalent 'normal' juice.

I use the Nautilus X a fair bit. I’d say stick with the 1.8 ohm coils at around 15w, the 1.5ohm coils aren’t as good. I use 50/50 liquid in mine, 14mg freebase. You can use the PockeX 0.6 ohm coils with it too if you want a stronger hit with lower nic juice. I would also pick up one of these tank extension glass and chimney to make it 4ml. Imo that makes it a much better tank, and I only need to fill it in the morning, and it’ll last me most of a day. I reckon you could vape your salts in it, I don’t think it hits as hard as the Pal II.

It does have a few quirks that you get used to. As soon as you screw the top cap on after filling, take a long draw, otherwise you might find your coil gets flooded
