Yep, in single coil mode with the air almost closed off.

Still very much on the loose side for me, but not unpleasantly so.

Was my first dip into rebuildables many moons ago.
Frustrating little things as i remember.
Kept breaking the glass and the condensation on the glass drip tip used to annoy me.
Think i was trying to mtl with it back then.

I'm finding it alright.

9.5 wrap micro on a 2mm id with 28g A1 is giving me just about 1.5ohms.

Bung wick through and cut to deck length then screw the barrel down to trap the wick after wetting it.

Worked first time

Condensation is something I'm used to - I have a couple of clear plastic drip tips (they do the same) and got a few 510 glass tips on order.


Were you breaking the glass out and about or during assembly? If they're fragile I'll have to watch that...

Slightest knock and game over.
Think they've brought out a v2 and v3 since the original but dont know what the difference is.
