As a female member of this forum I have to say I have never been treated any differently to anyone else on here or if I have it has gone completely over my head!! I have had great help and advice from fellow apes, I don't get involved with any of the political discussions on here but do follow them sometimes, I like the help that people are always giving to each other in times of need and being part of this community gives me an outlet from the normal or not normal everyday life!!

I hope all forum members are treated with an equal amount of (dis)respect regardless of gender. And this is mostly what I see tbh.

If you can't take a bit of banter and disagreement from time to time I think your life is gonna be tough, both in this forum and IRL.

OTOH, women prob find it a bit creepy when a guy's banter consists soley of innuendo / sexual stuff. Or is overly disrespectful. Or both.

For the sake of our female members, if you think this might be you, perhaps tone it down a bit. Free speech is a good thing, but the women here are some of my favourite posters and it would be nice to have more of them around, not put them off.

When I met my husband he was in the Army as was I and I have never seen anything on here that I haven't Heard or seen before! It doesn't bother me in the slightest and if I don't like the way a thread is going I don't read it and go on to other things so you guys keep doing things just the same as far as I am concerned.

That's good to know @quincey43 and I'm glad you feel comfortable. My partner is the same, she really couldn't give a shit, and that's one of the things I love about her.

As a female member of this Forum, I’ve never felt as though anybody was creepy, suggestive or anywhere near sexual innuendo. On the contrary, I think my user name must suggest I’m a male as I quite often get Bud, fella, mate as replies to posts. I don’t know why I never correct them, I guess there’s no need. At times when I’ve gone to PM regarding a comp win or such like. I think some are surprised when I put my real name. Even then nobody has ever even hinted at flirting and all have been perfectly respectable and friendly . I like the Banter and as an Ex-Navy Wren, I’ve seen and heard it all and more. Nothing shocks me on here!

Well said lovely!! As i said im really not easiky offended and can take banter, if i had a issue with anyone i would tell them outright. So far im very happy with how ive been treated, abuse and all lol

One of the best parts of the whole POTV community is that there is a great balance, unless I've missed it there has been a mutual respect, male or female anyone acting a tw@ gets called out, what's left is a great community with great banter, sure we disagree sometimes but it would be weird if we all agreed on everything like a cult, my sense of humour doesn't translate well into text so I do tone it down a fair bit though.

So anyway bitches............. (ducks for cover)

I received the Augvape Merlin Nano MTL RTA yesterday for review, I only agreed to take it as nobody else wanted it, in fact here was my comment:
"This is quite old considering, it wasn't reviewed too positively so a surprising choice to send for review? but happy to give it a go, though there's a high chance it will be a 5/10"

Well I was wrong, it won't win any design or innovation awards but damn it frikkin works so well, the flavour is top draw, still early days but gone through 3 flavours so far and loving it, I'm trying to work out what suits it best?

I quite fancy it. I love those little 18mm tanks. Could do with one for my guardian pipe.
