Is the Pioneer 1.5 a good buy? I have the original and never really had much of a problem with it does this one bring anything new or better to the table.

Not really quincey. Performance is the same but wicking is more forgiving. Would stick with your V1 if you are happy with it.

Just wicked the V1 up and it's working a treat so I think you are right and I will save myself the money!

I had trouble wicking the V1, which is the only reason I went for it.
