What I love about having lots of gear is going back to something after a while, and then rediscovering how bloody good it is. Brought the dotaio with the BP dotrba back, and it’s a lovely Sunday vape :2thumbsup:

Finally I think I can retire my trusty old Doggy’s, maybe not a popular choice on here but these Dead Rabbit Mtl’s suit me perfectly, nice loose Mtl wide open, quiet with great flavour and capacity, simple to coil and wick.
0.5ohm flat 25g kanthal about 15/16 watts, what was Chef’s Strawberry Vapetto in one and Toffee Popcorn in the other 12mg 50/50, Steamcrave Mtl drip tips.

Finally trying out the Artemis I picked up from @John R and I’m finding it a bit of a mixed bag… The flavor is excellent and I have no complaints there, but I’m having trouble finding an airflow that I enjoy. It’s not quite tight enough with the ring open, but on the smallest hole it changes the character of the airflow. Oh well, I’ll keep on playing with it :D

I agree with you, I got one when everybody said they thought they would be rubbish and I really like it infact I am going to get a second one! Quiet, smooth draw ans good flavour whats not to like oh and don't cost the earth!

I used to find if you use a suitable diameter rod in the airflow you could line it through to get the draw all working flawlessly.

I believe I bought my first one from the classies after reading your comment about it so it’s kudos to you [emoji106][emoji106]
I’ve found that they can sometimes flood after filling, it’s pretty much bound to happen with top fill and no JFC, so I either vape it almost bone dry or bottom fill it with a narrow tipped bottle, doesn’t bother me at all.

Retiring the doggies?! :11:

Bad boy!

They’ve had a good run probably going on for five years the 2K18’s being my favourite, parts are just about impossible to get now and I’m virtually out of spare tanks, I’m ok for 2K16 bits so I could carry on with them.
Thing is finding spares for newer gear particularly Chinese stuff is also difficult and they only seem to manufacture things for a very short run, so I’m thinking of buying maybe five of these in a few weeks once I’m 100% on them to cover me for a few years, finding an atty that suits me is an expensive and frustrating process that I’m fed up with, I’ve tried too many.

It's a weird one. I almost love it. It looks great to my eyes and I found the vape very satisfying, but overall the atty was just too fiddley for me to get on with. Whenever I tried to unscrew something (airflow, tank, top) everything else seemed to move except the bit that I was aiming for.
