Hey mate, blanks are 19-20mm for the most part. As @Crewella says though, I’m off to Spain on Tuesday for 7 days, when I return I shall be making my own blanks [emoji16]

cool, the corolla rings are 22mm ... so maybe if you could make a blank at 23mm, like I said if you want to have a look at some give me a holla and I'll send them to you so you can check the inside measurements and all that of the ring..... and then maybe estimate what it might cost, you could make the drip tip out of the hole in the middle if there was a way of cutting that out in one. :D

@Simon G would know ....... ;)

*Corolla* :D

My first few mesh wicks were tending to dry hit. They worked in a bit better after a while, and I learned not to pack them so tightly .... if that helps?

I’ve not actually had a dry hit from it, it’s just threatened one a couple of times. I don’t know if it’s real or partly my own fear and trepidation...

I didn’t pack it tightly at all, in fact I wondered if it might not be tight enough. I used less mesh than quorax because it’s in a 2mm coil (specifically because you frightened me about melting inserts, also the reason I opted for le zeph, which has more coil space, over the ddp! :D )

I also wondered if it naturally doesn’t wick as fast as cotton, and maybe I’m not leaving it long enough between puffs. I tend to have 2 or 3 long chain puffs.

do you think @Lee would be able to make matching corolla rings too?

I could get on board with that, if they weren't too expensive.

The excitement, a bespoke corolla! Imagine someone replies in the other thread to say they have a Bob Mould mould and asks you to send them over a Bob Mould blank for your weird sex doll. That would just be way too overwhelming. :D

Thanks, I may hit you up if I need any measurements :)

Unfortunately it won’t be possible to use the centre of the ring as a drip tip as there wouldn’t be enough left on the length to grip into the jaws of the chuck, each regular blank tends to waste a good 30mm or more for that reason.

I know it’s not the same, but it’s the same amount of work and materials - a billet box matching button and 510 tip is £18 posted so it’s going to be around that sort of money.

I have planned when I return from Spain to allow customers not only to choose blanks but to be able to choose pigment colours, combinations of pigments, different flakes that can’t be cast into the resin and so much more, it is literally as custom as you can get :)

I'm by no means the mesh expert! What gauge are you using?

Enjoy your break .... and hurry back ....... ;) :2thumbsup:

sounds great .... I'd be happy to invest £20 for a special treat. :)

can you do both opaque and transparent colours? .... I really like it when it's a combination of the two mixed together.

... anyway don't worry about it now, enjoy spain. :)

Haha not going until Tuesday, still work work work at the moment [emoji23]

When the custom tips own blanks option is all go, the is literally no limit. Absolutely any colour you like. There is a customer on Instagram that’s waiting for them, wants me to cast a couple of Lego heads in a blue transparent resin, just to give you some idea [emoji23]

So yeah, to put it better - I’ll have a colour chart on the website with all the pigments on offer, different flakes and special effect dyes etc. Its worked out pretty well because whatever waste is left from “your” blank, will be used up on some stock tips and sent to wholesale customers - the custom blank service costs no extra for that reason [emoji16]

#235 I think. Whichever gauge @eightbitraptor recommended. Stealthvape were out of stock so i got it from crazy wire. It seems decent, very clean.

I’m really very impressed with the quality of the vapour from it. It’s difficult to try and describe... clean, precise, fresh, maybe?

I have an urge to try and wick the dvarw with it. I see the qorax uses it in calixes, kayfun 3 minis and all sorts.
