I was a few years too young for the batcave but was a regular frequenter of Slimelight. I also have vague memories of going to a club in a building at the end of Shaftesbury Avenue, opposite where the Astoria was iirc. It was more of a squat than a club. Was this the beginning of Slimelight before it moved to Islington? I can't remember... Did you go @Crewella ?

I’m loving this part of the thread, mostly because I’m far too young to remember the Batcave!
I’m a creature of the 90’s I’m afraid, and since I left school in 93, the majority of that was spent in local clubs.
Fortunately, we did have a fantastic local scene, none of which remains.
Went to Slimes a couple of times, but I could never get into the whole EBM/dance side of things.
