well good evening my fellow apes

this mod has been a stop-start affair I just couldn't get the flow

it is a twin tube unregulated mech mod series wired with a MOSFET and boy is it powerful

so ready

upon this night as the cold nights sail in on the DVD is....

Flatliners (the original)

Nelson Wright: You bring the equipment, I'll bring my balls.

so the first mod I made was this

and after a miss mill, it was scrap.

the second mod was this

IMG_3816.JPG

it was finished I tripped in the workshop and it hit the wall and smashed to bits

jesus this was becoming a pain so 3rd time lucky

IMG_3824.JPG

this is heartwood (oak) with an alder panel stabilised polished with twin tubes recessed squonk fitted into a chromium top plate but I'm not happy a mod needs something to contain it

IMG_3835.JPG

so get some oak do a bit of drilling

IMG_3836.JPG

fit a skiver but these need a container

IMG_3833.JPG

this is a 1950's medical cabinet from Birmingham university needs a revamp its old and stained so add the bits together and we have

IMG_3844.JPG

IMG_3845.JPG

so the mod clips onto the skiver which acts as a handle so you can lift the oak lid to reveal a storage space the oak panels have 25mm and 32mm attey stands

waxed finish on the cabinet

so a wood mod in a wood case twin series squonk.....done

@monstermash your mod is finally completed and ready to come to you

ok as always I say whats next soooooooo

a squonker DNA 75 its name

Fast and Furious

if you love my mods cabinets cases then like them, follow me.....buy one

Yes and no

It was used in the 1950s as a medical cabinet for students to put there tests work into I have 3 in total it looks like hardwood ply with dove tail joints but they were all made by hand I have put oak in side so you have a bit off both

I only asked lest it was worth buzzing the outside with the leccy sander and waxing it au-nautrel to match its new innards. (Another of my good ideas that I'd probably never get around to :) )
