you could use one the hole in real life looks is fine you wouldn’t notice it if someone didn’t point it out to you

Hey Stu, I notice you said a Maplins soldering iron wouldn't have the power to heat up the 510 slab to de-solder the wires, could you advise what I'd be looking for? Is this a temp capability or Wattage of the iron? A link would be fabulous for something decent that won't break the bank. Cheers

i use a solder station the key is the tip you need a tip that can transfer the heat so a wide tip, i soldered at about 450 degrees to get the heat into the 510 but you have to be precise when you do the solder use original place that still has the solder in place but only the negative that needs the power
