Hey all, sorry to jump in like this but thought I should update on this. Seems there are crossed wires somewhere and although there is little risk of vapers suddenly descending en masse to a Weatherspoons any time soon, I rang both pubs in Shrewsbury & neither have banned vaping in the smoking areas.

I had someone from the pub in llandudno on thursday ask me to "refrain from using that thing" in the smoking area......i promptly went back in, asked for the manager, and asked him for a refund on the £58 we had just spent on a meal that they had just that minute served us.....now, i am not a voilent man, but im a big guy, with tattoos, short hair and im a cockney and after a short conversation, i got the money put back on my card, at which point i gave him a 'pwoper nawty' mouthful about his attitude, and his short sighted view on e-cigs.......i didnt swear, or lose my temper, i just gave him a few pointers....
