Sigelei Telescope #20 (with hot spring)

Got a #20 from toby. Superb service as usual. Theres a gap with the mod but with the hot spring, iys awesome with my oids.

Initial impressions of the performance out of the box were not good. Then I replaced the stock spring with the hot spring supplied with it. It's there for a reason peeps. MUCH better. Works well with a 18500 + Kick too :).
The 510 connector is raised and so for the OCD afflicted amongst us you won't get a flush fitting on your AGAs etc
For the price though its a really nice bit of kit and cute in its dinky 18350 mode (the telescope screws flush in this mode)

Their really nice, mine hasn't been out my hand since Saturday, in 18350 mode this thing is tiny, I did mod mine abit as the 510 is not very deep and nothing would screw all the way down, but its now sorted, apart from that its great, nice threads as always from sigelei and the button action is nice :)

What did you do to get the tanks fitting flush. I ordered mine today but that will annoy me a bit.

Remove the brass 510 thread with a screwdriver and a delrin washer should come out, you might have to tap it to get it to fall out

Turn it over and pull the bottom pin out with some pliers, then push the top pin out from the bottom through the hole where the bottom pin was with a small screwdriver or something

use a dremel and remove some of the delrin from around the top pin hole, effectively your counter sinking to allow for the top pin head, that's what I did but a proper counter sink bit in a drill will probably work, just don't over do it

Get the delrin washer and enlarge the hole big enough so the 510 of a atty will fit through it

Then just re assemble

That's pretty much it :)

Don't hold me responsible if it goes wrong bud, that's just how I did it :)

Tbf the gap won't bother most folk, but it can drive others bonkers, me included hehe ;)
