It looks like the tpd pods just have a plastic bung on the left hand side so ordering 3ml pods via China should be fine for all.

yeah that makes sense, there's that little smaller section on the left of the coil, I guess they just poke something in there to make it 2ml for the TPD ones when they are putting them together.

It doesn't explain the removable film though.

Yeah I've ordered a black one for me and a red one for Mrs kid as due to my self imposed rules. This one will have to move on.
Love it. I'm erring on ordering a gun metal one too for back up.
