I use pods for other liquids, but am considering them for normal vaping, thing is I subohm 1mg in rta's and rda's, need to reduce consumption from 30-40ml a day. Question is would a mtl pod system work at say 1-3mg, I'm fine at 12-18mg but dont really want to get used to that nic hit, albeit I won't be vaping a huge amount of juice per day like I currently do. I'm definitely interested in the rba here, surely cant be worse to coil and wick than the original Goblin rta which was a mare to build a 1 ohm resistance dual coil on.

@andi52 you could think of it like this. Your 30-40ml at 1mg is giving you 30-40mg/day of nic. If you wanted to cut your liquid consumption to 1/4, ie 10ml/day, you could mix at 4mg.

Theoretically that should work, and higher resistance/lower power would mean you shouldn’t have to reduce your frequency of puffing, you’d just be reducing cloud size, or vapour volume. But the higher nic would mean the smaller cloud should still be as satisfying.

It’s worth a try.

I'm getting through the same nic as sub ohming.
2ml at 35mg or 20ml at 3mg.
I'm happier putting less juice in my lungs.

I have some justfog mini's and the obligatory £1 My Blu's, I'm impressed with them tbh, and they are rewickable, bit fiddly. Battery life on pods is perhaps questionable though, I'd be puffing all day long - I would imagine. Not really bothered about massive clouds, although it's something that can be fun, in the right company.

The battery life is the reason my justfog lives in the cupboard these days. I’m pretty sure this smoant will be much better in that respect. Even my wee suorin air is pretty good in comparison to the minifit.

You could even have two running , one fully charged as a spare so you would hopefully never be caught out.

There is something appealing about the simplicity of a wee all in one device. If it wasn’t for the bb I’d definitely have ordered one of these by now despite my reservations about it (mostly the look of it). Everyone is raving about them, really. Apart from @Vapaneezer Scrooge and @Discomatt !

Battery life is ok ... If my coils arrive today I'll do some kind of comparison. I don't really know because if it's getting low I just plug it in while I'm on the laptop. I've been out for whole daytimes and spent evenings vaping it a lot and it's never run out on me though, so I've never really charged it from dead to full.

For me it's more convenient than having 18650's charging for hours and hours at a time, really.

There is something appealing about the simplicity of a wee all in one device. If it wasn’t for the bb I’d definitely have ordered one of these by now despite my reservations about it (mostly the look of it). Everyone is raving about them, really. Apart from @Vapaneezer Scrooge and @Discomatt !

I actually do like it, just pointed out a few cons of which none are a deal breaker, if I was to review it today it wouldn't fair too well but I've only tried the mesh coil which isn't as good flavour as the Artery Pal II, popping in an MTL 1.4ohm coil today which should meet my preference.

I'm hoping the RBA makes it even better, I've ordered a 5 pack as I like the way you can build a few different setups and quickly swap them.

I've got used to the fire button but it's still a con to me, battery life isn't bad at all.

At the moment yeah I'm not raving about it, do I regret buying it? not at all but it's the largest 'pod style' in my collection and still reach for the much smaller Artery Pal II for flavour with it's 0.6ohm mesh coil.

TBC once I've tried the MTL coil...

Okay 1.4 Ohm Coil in it - that's more like it! far better flavour and really enjoying it.

Lowest power setting and airflow narrow is giving me the perfect draw for 20mg nic salts with great flavour, on par with the PAL.

Off out soon and it's earned it's place in my pocket (along with the PAL for variety).
