hello everyone i just created my account nice to meet all of you !
i have a smok fetch pro ı just stopped smoking like 3-4 days ago i had the 2 coils that came in the box i am using them but i decided to buy a RBA coil i bought the RGC RBA coil it fits perfectly but i have a problem i have a kanthal A-1 wire and muji cottons i make the coil and check for hot spots after burning a little then i wick and saturate the cotton and install it in the device but the cotton always gets burned i usually go for 0.4 or 0.5 ohm when ı make a coil and i can't figure out the problem :(
(english is not my first language if i made any errors sorry about that)

Welcome to the forum @solexmert and congratulations on quiting smoking. :)

I don't have the smok fetch but someone who does should be along shortly to offer advice.

Not my sort of kit but would guess that if the cotton always burns it is likely to be too much cotton through the juice flow holes or between there and the coil or through the coil.
There is too much cotton stuck too tight somewere reducing juice flow.

Just a guess on my part, till someone who knows better comes along.

Welcome to the forum.

Thanks for the help ! i watched all the videos ı could find on this coil tried all sorts of wicking methods but no help i guess i am doing something wrong but i can't figure out where :(

I found this single review on one site selling the rba coil so you're not alone solexmert.

"Although its a good idea it struggles to keep up with a good pull. I like a good pull but every time I vaped on the RGC RBA it couldn’t keep up and burnt the cotton every time, might be ok doing MTL but not so much on DL".

There is two different rba coils for the fetch I believe.
the rgc looks very slim.
The rpm the is slightly wider and seems a better design. Check out some of martyn parkers reviewer on you tube. He used a fetch with the rpm the exclusively to test juice. He has his claptons specifically made by runny nose vapers but they look simple spaced clapton coils and he is very happy with the fetch.worth a look.

ı think ı kinda solved the problem ı used one of those coil making things made a 3 wrap coil that is 0.66 ohm and used the scottish roll wicking technique and it's so far so good right now no burned taste no flavor but i think it's the juice i am using if anything happens i will update here so anyone that has the same problem can solve it

Edit: ı would like to add that wicking is more important than normal here the holes are tiny and if you don't do it just the right amount it's basically game over

Edit 2: scottish roll is the answer here it is really easy to do and extremely satisfying and in the rba coil one hole always get kinda blocked because of the pod you can just cut the cotton a little bit longer on one side and when you stuff it in the hole use something long and pull the cotton out the hole that makes it wick a little better i can chain vape it now but as i said no flavor yet
