So I bought a Vamo......

Silly question.....

I had the voltage set to 4.0. I switched modes to adjust the watts and set them to 7.0 and switched back to voltage. When I switched back, the voltage was back at 3.0v. I switched back to watts to check and that was back at 3.0W. Is there something I need to press to make it store the settings or does it reset when you change modes?

Nothing you can do mate sorry resets when you change the battery too

Switching between volts and wattage will always reset to 3 - It's not a flaw, it's a feature. The later ones should keep the setting when you take out the battery (but still reset if you switch from VV to VW) - Least mine does.
I think it's fair to summarise, you either set the watts or the volts, not both. One affects the other.

Ah, so the adjustments are mutually exclusive. i.e. it's either adjust voltage with default wattage or adjust wattage with default voltage?

For some reason I thought I could set it to 7W then mess around with the volts at that wattage or have it pump out 4.5v and mess around with the watts

When I think about my question, I really should know better. Basic physics boy! The resistance is a fixed value determined by the atty. If I adjust the voltage, the watts adjust accordingly and vice versa. Doh, too many vapes

I vape in Watts with my Vamo and the setting remains the same when I swap the battery out however if I'm vaping in Volts it resets back to 3v. I hope this helps

Spot on. Now turn it into 18650 and whack yourself. Ok, maybe not a good idea because that would probably hurt and cause a dent.

In RMS mode it should hold your wattage settings when you replace the battery.

Aye, got it doing what I want now

Burned through x2 atty's though. Was trying to see how high it would run and it turns out that I like it on the lowest setting
