Soggy Judge Coils.

My take on the dragon coil on an Igo-L. A bit of a pain to setup but I'm waiting for a dual coil dripper and couldn't resist giving it a try. It's slightly different to the dragon coil as I've blocked up both coils on the end nearest the side of the cap. It looks like a court judge

It doesn't seem to vape much better than a single 1ohm coil with a Torchy battery but I have just received my Sony 30A batteries and they are charging now. I'll pop one of those puppies in when charged and give it a go

Here are the pics:


2 .28mm 10 wrap coils around a nail about 1.75mm thick.


A bit of fiddling and I got it attached.


Glowing nicely but a bit slow to get there using a standard Torchy 18650.


Cotton pulled under. One wraps goes around the end nearest the side and under the wick on the opposite side. The other end of the cotton goes over the top and is secured under the wick and coil.

It came in at .8ohms. Maybe a couple less wraps next time.

Now to wait for the new Sonys to charge and give it a try. Wish me luck

No. Probably won't either. The cap is half filled with cotton. Really just en experiment to see if the Judge shoots vapour out of his eyes. He doesn't as yet. Do you think the Sony's will push more power to it?

What batteries are you running currently?
As to be honest, most batteries should be capable of firing up a 0.8 coil at full whack! (5.25 amps... So... Most 18650s anyway!)

Yeah man , heat it until red hot then squeeze together so all the wraps are touching , will heat quicker and better ,

Bugger! Ruined the setup. 2 charged Sonys and nothing to use them on!.
Tomorrow, 2x9 wraps squeezed together and hopefully a nice .6ohm setup that puts a little strain on these Sonys
