I've never mixed anything (except a Gin and Tonic) before and would like some simple, idiot guide style, advice please.

I'm tempted to buy some Red Astair Concentrate and mix it myself. I don't want to become the Mad Professor with a chemistry lab in my house.

Can I just get some PG, VG and Concentrate along with some bottles and a few syringes. Mix them in the right proportions (15% RA, then the PG and VG -- probably 60/40) and let it steep 24hrs before it's good to go?

Also I don't need nicotine as I vape 0% - I'm a flavour chaser.

I really don't want to over complicate matters unecessarilly but would value your advice as those who know something about this stuff.

:thankssign:

I'm assuming you use an RDA if you want clouds?

Get some chefs vapour VG (i like it) And some 1,5 and 10ml syringes. Do you use android? I use the simple e liquid calculator app. Makes things easier.

I started mixing my own with VG bought of the shelf from asda.

You have it spot on, apart from maybe the steeping. Its your personal taste how long it to steep. I only blast steep most of mine as they are all fruit or sweet.

But yeah, mixing is easy especially if you don't use nic. Just use a calculator for percentages (I use the POTV one from play store)

+1 i use a milk frother for mixing as i find it reduces steep time, this is the calc i use e-Liquid Calculator :: New recipe

Thanks for your reply.

Yes, I do use an RDA but it's flavour not clouds I'm after. I also have Android what's the name of the app you use?

Simple e liquid calculator its called. Best I've found.

And higher VG juice won't ruin flavour at all.

it's a piece off piss bud and actually Red Astaire is one of the few flavours that doesnt really need to steep and is good to go from the off.
personally (and quite afew others will say the same) I'd mix the RA at 20% percent, it's lovley at that percentege and would definatley benifit from a higher flavour percentage if mixing it at a higher VG content.
Red Astair will get better with time but its well nice from the off anyways :)
