Sore red lips

Have been vaping for 3 years & now my lips are sore & red. I keep carmex on them all the time. It's been like this for about 4 months.Doesn't seem to be healing. Any suggestions?

If you've had the issue for four months and been vaping for 3 years and not changed something recently then get to the doctors.

I advise a doctor, like @StrawberryRipple said it unlikely to be vaping, unless changed drip tip as some people are allergic to certain metals.

I would do what others are saying go and see your doctor as you say you have been vaping for 3 years now and this has only been happened 4 months ago.

Could it be you had dry lips and your allergic to something in the carmex that's keeping them red and sore?

Why do so many people think a vaping forum is a good place for medical advice? .... it's bizarre.

No offense to any of you wonderful forum members but this isn't the place I'd be asking advice on anything serious.

Stop using Carmex. Almost certainly, IMHO, what's causing the problem to persist (if not the initial root cause) if you're using it constantly. Ingredients include petroleum and paraffin wax. Overuse will without a doubt eventually irritate your lips. Go to see your doc for advice as mentioned by others or at the very least stop using the Carmex for a week and see how you go. And drink plenty of water.

I get sore, red lips in winter too.

But I also have a frozen lamppost kissing fetish which I indulge primarily between late October and early February. Could be that?
