IMO if your adding it you need to do it with a higher post count, say 25. 5 is neither here or there and is just open to be abused and go un-noticed.

We've had it for a couple of weeks and for the most part it's not been so bad. Will deffo talk to the team about their thoughts on raising it.

For right not though we agreed 5 is low enough that people tend not to spam the forum with HI HI HI HI HI over and over again, but so far just enough that they get involved in more important threads.

A better option is to set the number of days a member has been registered, say 14. That stops it. We have min post 25 and 14 days membership and we ban people weekly for spamming to try reach 25 posts lol.

I recks five or twenty five, if people want Carlos's juice bad enough, they'll find a way to get to it, as witnessed when Romanisto did the great ebaron Spiral givaway...five is okay because you get the plonkas who can't get to what they want right away, and so bugger off, whereas others will at least participate, generally, and can even hang around...
