@laco loving the shape of the mods on the right and left. They look really comfy to hold. What are they and where can I get one?!

Hmm. . . can already see this squonking business is going to cost me big time in the coming weeks.

They're called the Freehand from Limelight Mechanics. Mostly done through their Facebook group but there are a few online stores that stock them now and again. And yes you are correct, very comfortable mod to use.

Fuck a duck - the Limelight starts at 295 quid. Not sure I like it that much but famous last words and all that.

Yeah, the Lost Vape Drone. Um . . . I'm sure it's a great mod but I'm not keen on the look of it to be honest. I mean - to me it looks like they came up with a prototype, then said "Fuck it, that'll do!"

Again, famous last words. No doubt I'll have one in a couple of weeks

I'm trying not to look at these "high end" squonk mods, I don't think my organs have any re sale value.

The Drone is a real good mod, especially if you need brute force, but I agree, a face only a mother could love. Mine will get a zip wrap, when I can decide which one.

Check out Rockmodz... Ryan does some great DNA stab woods and they dont cost the earth....

For mine I paid £295 for the mechanical stab wood mod, and £290 for the Gloom which is the plastic one and is fitted with a MOSFET. My stab wood one is going back to the modder to have a MOSFET fitted when I have time. They are a joy to hold and the workmanship on them is exceptional. They also come with a lifetime guarantee from the guy who makes them for manufacturing defects and, from what I hear, he is great at sorting them out. You can also buy them in walnut which is (slightly) more budget friendly.

Sounds a bit like the HexOhm's. Lifetime guarantee and all that jazz. I'm tempted and I know I'll end up owning one at some point. Eye-watering price though. For me, anyway. How old is the chap that makes them? If he's 85 a lifetime guarantee means little

As an aside - I'm sure Lost Vape will come up with a Drone update soon. Can see it now. The Lost Vape Drone Handsome Edition. Well, they could hardly make it more ugly.

Had the drone a couple of days and I like it but don't quite love it. The button should be raised, and the battery door was a little wobbly. A firm squeeze and it's tighter fitting now.
