Been a while since I posted in here.

I've got some plain old 2.5mm nichrome in mine tonight (0.4). Pain in the area for shorts and impossible to get the airflow to hit the coil where you want it.
If it wasn't such a looker I'd call it a gigantic fail.

I jammed a 28awg stage into the test coils and It's a lot better. Will drop one wrap of each when I do a proper build tomorrow today and it should be spot on.

At 2.5 mm if the legs are parallel to each other and 90° to the axis of the coil that should put the coils horizontal and dead center on the airflow slots when installed with the legs flat against the top of the posts. The trickiest bit is guaging leg length and how far off the deck ro put the coil before you tighten it up and bend the legs to position the coils.

Tell me about it. Nice job mate. When you finally get it spot on it's worth the effort. I've got a 22mm version too. It is even more of a pig but the flavour is excellent and damn it looks good on squonk duty.

So, another Drone so started afresh with another atty - Medusa Reborn, still testing the Medusa, seems good, will play around lots with it, different coils and wicking, using a YFTK super soft bottle and filled it up to the brim with a YFTK 510 refiller from 3F, filled very easily and no mess so a good refiller, will refill next with the same refiller from FT which should be exactly the same (but you never know) and then will use one of the Lucemill bottles with a YFTK top and will report back.

Just noticed 3A have the geekvape dual cell squonker in stock. I know it also has its issue's but it's pretty hard to find these days and will enable a 25mm to sit atop without o.c.d. issues.

Absolutely smitten with this! Small, lightweight and just works. Love the fact it has a locking button and will fit in a handbag easy enough too.
