stabwood block video progression in the day and in the night

Not sure I'm that keen on the first block, seems like some pinky tones through it that are not my cup of tea.

Love the second one and it even has a big F on the front... like it was destined to go to someone who for instance had a forum name that started with the same letter... can't think of who though :hmm:

First one looks very effective at night. Nice to see something a bit different

Does this convert the wood into plastic-like with some chemical?
It stabilises the wood, prevents it rotting down. It's encased in resin under pressure to eliminate air pockets & penetrate the wood. Hard wearing & easier to machine. Stu will point out my mistakes :D

stabilizing just makes the wood harder in effect its still wood but wood having air in the grain the resin fills it there are lots of methods but it depends on the wood for me as a maker its good lots of modmakers coat there mods with ce coating the mythical coating of the gods, in fact, its superglue nothing more, I'm messing about with other things I like the resin but without the wood, the resin has nothing to react with so it's difficult

there is never perfection it's always there in front of you but it's unobtainable just out of reach it's a haunting thing a cold feeling never to be satisfied, as a maker, mods are a short love affair I'm never happy I watch them go out, change hands get sold, travel around the world if someone said 5 years ago I would be here now where I am now I would have laughed at them.......

yes the first block has pink in it but pink is a strange colour to use its very elusive either very strong or light there is more pink in that block than any other colour, as a rule, I don't use it as it has a negative image, mods have to be man mods not feminine
