Stainless Steel Wick + AGA T2 = Nirvana

I thoroughly recommend trying it if you haven't. The wick appears indestructible, you only need a little SS mesh, it produces vast clouds of vapour, the flavour is fantastic, no dry hits, not more tipping the mod when the tank is low, it just sucks every drop from the tank and it takes much less time than rolling up a mesh wick.

Did you torch the wick before use? Are you sure it's stainless steel and not galvanised?? I get no metallic taste at all from mine.

Got a blow torch on the bugger cremated the shit out of it! Its frustrating Cuz my first rebuidable it works fine its just a funny taste. I will try again in a bit!

I tried all morning to get rope to work but I just don't have the magic touch anymore. First ss mesh wick was awesome, everything else has been pants. So I'm sticking with silica in the aga t+, tastes great, loads of vapour and a lot less headaches
Edit: Doc_Gonzo if you want to try some rope wick I bought a metre and won't be trying it again

Ahhhhh - I wish I'd have seen your post earlier. I watched a video, hit google and bought myself a metre of the stuff. Thanks anyway though! I've got the mesh / coil working on my AGA T2 but only on my ego battery. I've only tried it on my Transformer so far and it just doesn't work - the resistance jumps all over the place and it barely fires at 6V. Weird! I'll have to try it on my other mods and hope for better results.

No worries I'm sure I'll find a good home for it.
Resistance jumping about sounds like a short to me, maybe the coil touching itself (fnaar) or the mesh not fully oxidised. Ego's don't really worry about things like resistance
