Hi guys

we are flying from stansted with Ryanair and it’s my understanding we can’t take e-cigs in our hand luggage. Is there a solution to this? Do they sell e-cigs in duty free at all inside the airport?

thank you in advance

Where did you hear this? I flew back on ryanair this morn (not stansted), no issue both ways. Airlines can't dictate what goes through security as far as I can see?

I was under the impression that all batteries especially rechargeables had to go into hand luggage for safety purposes. I could be wrong, it’s 10mths since I’ve flown.

I flew to Schiphol and back in January and you are supposed to take your vape and batteries in your hand luggage and not in your luggage to go in the hold. No problems at all flying out, flying back they checked my liquid though!!

Take a spare or two setup
drain/empty tanks, completely if possible
place the tanks/setup kits in a plastic bag (sandwich bag is ideal)
They will leak at 30,000ft pressurised cabin so contain any greasy leaks

I chucked half a dozen 10ml juice bottles in case in a plastic sandwich bag
(this is how I travelled in the past)

The batteries though HAVE to be put in carry on bag on plane with you
with laptops & vape stuff - batteries mostly brought out on a separate tray for inspection at X-ray m/c

All tanks should go in a sandwich bag, all together or in their own bag etc...
They just need to scan the various devices to ensure they are what they are etc...

Once done shove it all back in your carry on or about yourself after clearing security

You should be fine unless O'Leary thinks you follow a certain ideology & carry an Innokin CoolFire 2
yeah maybe not wise to take this kit through the airport...

I got a slightly odd look taking a camo Innokin Adept through, but all OK
though reckon I would have received a full strip search with a CF2 kit
