'State of the Collection'? What's yours like at year end 2018?

Youngest is unwell and him and the Mrs didn't go to bed until later, so my Saturday evening drink started much later than anticipated! I took a pic of what I have in front of me and came to the conclusion that I'm nearly 'DONE'! So I thought we could have a 'State of the Collection' thread as we approach the end of 2018? So post up your collection no matter how big or small, and maybe say a few words about your favourite bits of gear and your plans for next year?

I'm exceptionally happy with what I have in my humble collection and they cover all the bases for the way I like to vape - after nearly 5 years of vaping, it boils down to the below picture for me.

Runt Tini and Wotofo Nudge - I'm on record as saying I didn't 'get' the 3d printed squonk mods and had no plans to buy one, but being a huge fan of the Tini due to how compact it is, when this Fizz Yan-dalised one showed up with the Nudge for a song, I had to have it! I had no expectations for either, especially the atty, but they've thoroughly disproved my previous misgivings and has become my go-to ADV - it's mental considering my prejudices against this type of kit previously!

Yihi SX mini M class and Eden Mods Snapdragon v1.5 - both are vape classics in my eyes with the original SX mini M class being a seminal product in the mass-produced market; fabulous design and engineering with a top notch vape experience from both. I'm a huge fan of Manabush eliquids and I reserve them solely for this set up.

SOI Subzero X and Kennedy 25 - my rowdy mech combo! Freshly polished SOI after receiving my polishing rig in the post today - I have the matching SOI atty but the Kennedy toes it up the arse TBH!

Possible changeovers before being 'done' - swap the Runt Tini for a Runt v2 as its a bit more robust (and there's loads of doors to change the look), and move out the SOI for a Kennedy Vindicator, then I'll happily be 'done'. Only thing I haven't mentioned is the GP dripper Pro I have sitting in the cupboard; I'm waiting on a dirt cheap Desire Designs 21700 squonker coming from China for it - it was about £13 from a thread in the bargains section a few weeks ago, they still haven't posted it yet so we'll see what happens? Hopefully it arrives as it looks ergonomic as fuck for me as a thumbfirer and will save me beating the Tini/Nudge up as much day to day.

I have more shit in my vaping box, current kit in use...

From left to right.

Mod 101 with a Dvarw, Evic Primo with Spica Pro, Evic Primo with Siren 2, Dani Mini with Kayfun Prime, Admiral with Aequitas, Caravela, Broadside with a Drop, another Broadside, Back to Basics v4 with a Drop and a Vindicator with yet another Drop.

Forgot to put the Eleaf iStick and the Berserker into the picture but as I say, this is what I currently use.

I like the idea of having a look at where you are at the end of the year but I just don’t feel like showing all I have got at the moment as I am a vape hoarder.

Instead I will give a little peek in my daily vape gear as it is.

I did not edit or arrange anything...

My plans for the next year are buying less hardware (I didn’t say none [emoji16]) and focus on my mixing a bit more to keep things interesting

I hear that one @instantlady , I just have the stuff in the picture in use, I have a few more regulated and mech mods in the box that seldom get used and a few atomisers that I should really offload, it didn't include my mixing stuff or my coil making kit either, LOL. Quite a shameful hoard for two years of vaping, I dread to think what I've spent so far but as you say I don't have many plans for new stuff either.

It’s not an excuse but I have no (legal) ways to sell things locally and shipping costs often makes it useless to put them in the classified section.

2018 was a really different year around these parts as far as Vaping was concerned.
After the Tsunami of Gear arrived from you wonderful People after the infamous Burglary......... I started to rationalise where I was going.
Carol had already started her journey with Billet Boxes and now uses nothing else.
I too joined the Billet Box party and have 2. Their form factor and versatility, coupled with sheer simplicity wins the day as my favourite "Out and About" device.... EVER
I still run 2 Conventional Setups at all times, The Dicodes Number6 Mod and my beloved Carlos Creations Zero. These get considerably more use during the Winter Months as I enjoy strong Tobaccos and adore what my favourite RTAs and Genesis Attys bring to the table.
I now run 3 Zen Squonkers, each with a different RDA on top and different flavours loaded. I adore these Mods!! I have the Halcyon to hand as there are occasions when a Regulated Squonk is all that satisfies me at certain times and usually always run a NextEra RDTA on that.

I have others, such as the glorious Visionary Qutars sitting in their Boxes in the Cupboard and no doubt they will reappear come Spring Time and improved weather.

A very good friend of ours commented only last night that my collection, whilst much trimmed down, now just oozes "A Gentleman's Choice" which rather appealed to my sense of humour.

But at the end of the day......... it matters not one jot what you use..... as long as it keeps you off the stinkies........ Job DONE!!!

That is an Octopus Sah Used to be the "Go To" RDA when people were first getting into Dripping. Actually works extremely well for what it is!!

A pod and a couple of bridges for my Billet boxes are the only addictions added this year, with nowt on the horizon that does anything different to what I have...Im staying strong.

I use it almost exclusively for testing recipes at low power, but sometimes I'll stick a one or two wrap heavy gauge coil on it and freak people out when they're showing off in the vape shop.
