Would this be suitable for me as a squonk virgin? I'd probably use my Velocity as I'm not a fan of the 2 SC rdas I already own. Yet another avenue of this great hobby to explore

Short answer is "it depends if you want a regulated mod". If you do, this is ok as is the Kangxin 60W mod. If you want to wait a bit Kanger are bringing out a 160W dual 18650 Squonk mod. If you're not bothered about regulated then (as @disk0vape says), the drip box is brilliant for the money. The atty is even useable if you rebuild their bedspring stock coils and put them vaguely at the height of the airflow.

For some reason, mine is burning through the legs of coils in my V-RDA. I'm not doing anything stupid and this particular build has lasted perfectly well on other mods.

Any ideas? Is the mod fucked?

8 x 3mm x 0.5 mm dual coil - about 0.55 ohms (didn't want to go too much lower so as to keep to a sensible wattage to give the battery a bit of life).

Here's the little blighter and what a cracking piece of tackle it is I'm very taken with it hehe.

Just spun a couple of slightly iffy claptons on the old battery drill and whacked 2 x 8 wrap 3mm vertical coils using 24 gauge (aka .5mm) core and 32 gauge outer. 8 wraps is greedy really but, whatever.

I got a free wotofo troll RDA with the mod so rogered the claptons into it and just fogged up the thru lounge with 3 manly lungfuls.
