Steeping

The important question though Mark, is when are you and Leigh going to start selling concentrates :-)

Of the pre-made range? I have no plans to - far too many people out there taking the piss mixing up a company's concentrates + using their branding in order to sell them which leaves all manner of reputation and QC issues. T-Juice nearly pulling their concentrates line earlier this year made me think about that in depth and even after they restricted how much could be purchased there were still people mixing it up for sale.

I honestly didn't know that was going on, and I wondered why T-Juice were restricting purchases to 40 ml. Makes sense now though. Chunts though doing that FFS.

That's a real PITA, buggers should be named and shamed in a dedicated section. :(

Quick question on steeping guys, I have made up a Grants Custard diy recipe yesterday (followed the recipe exactly)

Second day, it seems very weak, and not very custardy..... (cap Vanilla custard at 15%) Does the flavour increase with steeping?

Colours changed overnight from a straw colour to a light orange, whisked at first, and heated slightly in microwave

Cheers for any advice

sorry to dissapoint you.....
Your looking at 21 days.(minimum)..and thats with fairly heavy steeping methods..ie heat, froth, sunlight on a daily(ish) basis.
Capella custard is renowned for being one of the slowest steeping concentrates.

It'll taste nothing like custard till it tastes like custard(so dont bugger about adding stuff like i did)

Ideally forget about it for a month...bummer
